Ni kero ya mafuta, nashangaa! Wakati bandari tunayo Tanzania, na mafuta yanatumia bandari yetu hii ya Tanzania lakini utofauti wa bei ukienda na nchi nyengine kama Zambia na Malawi ni tofauti kabisa, wakati Tanzania bei ni ya ghali Zambia bei nafuu kwahiyo hata mkulima wa chini faida ya kilimo anakuwa hana kisa ni kwaajili ya mafuta.
The issue of the fuel problem surprises me! We have a harbour in Tanzania and the fuel passes through our harbour, but the prices in neighbouring countries like Zambia and Malawi are different. In Tanzania it is so expensive compared to Zambia where it is cheap, which makes it hard for a poor farmer to make any profits, and the reason is fuel.

A question regarding the spreading of HIV/AIDS: why is the infection rate still going up in our country while it is decreasing in the neighbouring countries? Our government should investigate what others are doing and replicate it here.

The infrastructure for Tanzanians makes me really sad, because it does not consider the needs of the physically challenged people, be it the private or government. We therefore call to all those involved in infrastructure development to remember the disabled amongst us.

Elimu inayotolewa kwa watoto wa kitanzania na hasa katika mpango wa MMEM na MEMCO, uhakikishe kwamba unawahusisha na watoto wote wenye ulemavu hasa wasio ona maana katika mpango huo wanaonekana kusahaulika kabisa.
It should be ensured that the education given to Tanzania children, in particular through MMEM and MEMKWA programmes, includes all the physically challenged children especially the blind ones because in this programme they seem to have been left out.

Shule za msingi ada zimefutwa, lakini michango imezidi kupita kiasi. Inapofungwa shule kila kichwa cha mwanafunzi ni shilingi elfu sita, michango kila mwezi ni shilingi mia mbili, ambapo yaani hiyo ni kero kwetu sisi wazazi ambapo yaani ni bora ingerudi ada kuliko ile michango ya siku zote.
Primary school fees have been abolished, but the contributions we are supposed to pay are just too much! When the school closes we pay Tsh.6000 per pupil, we pay a monthly contribution of Tsh.200 and this really annoys us as parents. We would actually prefer to pay fees rather than contributions every day.

I am disturbed by the fact that as business people transporting farm produce from the rural areas, we end up paying taxes twice. We pay taxes in the village and then we pay again in town, although the government has announced that these taxes have been dropped, so where does this tax come from?

Kwa sababu ni mfanyakazi eneo la Stend, kero langu lipo kwa gari zinatoka Tunduma, zinatoka Kiera, zinatoka Chunya zinaishia Mwanjila wakati kuna Stend kuu hapa yakufika watu kuja kupokea ndugu zao, hasa hapa watu wanapata tabu kuja kuwatafuta ndugu zao. Ndugu yako ametoka wapi, ametoka Kiela inabidi apate tabu tena kutoka hapa aende tena Mwanjila kwenda kumtafuta ndugu yake wakati hapa kuna Stend kuu ipo hapa Mbeya.
As I work at the bus stop, I am irritated about the public transport vehicles from Tunduma, Kiero and Chunya that terminates the journey at Mwanjila, whereas there is a main bus terminal here in Mbeya where relatives and friends wait to receive the passengers.
